I bought the ICN630 (V2), in September last year during a price euphorbia holiday!

The product is amazing - clear voice guidance (in a variety of languages and male / female variations), clear maps on the screen (the screen clearly even in a sunny day) to update the maps every second or so with the direction The remaining time in travel, distance to next turn, different views of the map (3D is my preference, plus turn-by-turn instructions to display plain paper, and the next round of view).

What is my decisionBuy this product over others on the market was: -

Or Upgradeable software - I just updated with new features and V3 are very impressive (for example, points of interest program - which allows me to upload speed camera locations in the UK!)

or "Back On Track" - which instantly calculates the best direction to go, if I make a wrong turn ... I'm still on the journey.

Fix or remove the dashboard on a permanent or a fixed immediately, "Sucker" device on the windshieldthe car (and put it in another machine if you want).

Two other guests had problems with the hardware - but I had absolutely no problem in the past four months.

A little 'dear, yes, but my driving style (short distances - the cost of motoring more affordable at last!) And I feel safe loads on the road.

The article is good, but some problems

First is not as fast as Tom Tom satellite pick up
Second up if it takes time to calculate the route to choose
The third routing options are never the best and always requires some local knowledge if you somewhrer received on time.
Fourth crashes all the time, especially when you try to make changes to a trip.
Fifth PDA Batteries run out after 2.5 hours, so if your car charger (dont have one or notLighter) you will be in difficulties. (Battery Extender are on ebay)
Sixth batteries are made to the Navman device every 30 hours and begins to move when they run out of fun.

All in all, buy the Tom Tom Bluetooth attachment if you must. Otherwise, a stand-alone tom tom 300 will cost about 250 and is a much better idea.

With the decision to invest in a machine, I bought this SatNav as I think they look childish TomTom '. The Navman is a great product - very well packaged and available at reasonable cost.

Directions from the south coast of England, Monaco, Germany, and has been around for Italy and the Italian and Austrian Alps during the summer months, the device is very useful - even if the maps have slightly exceeded was more reliable than the paper cards, I had (the scale has never been to help!)


Overall there is a great tool, coverage is very good (although sometimes the GPS works a bit 'to stop' and divert more to understand a moment, "take").

It would be niceif you can use to adapt routing to "local knowledge" and proximity to the target (ie, the urban streets around the destination and starting point) and road / highway to travel on main roads intermidiary, but heh, all we have our preferences. :)

The unit tends to fall on the windshield - even though I hav'n't break the screen (if Id have to buy a new satnav ...) - which is a bit 'annoying esp. if your on your own!
